NCIS: Hawaii Season 1

Alex in the NCIS: Hawaii Season 1 premiere episode, "Pilot".
Alex made his debut appearance in the NCIS: Hawaii Season 1 premiere episode, "Pilot" where he was first seen at a soccer game, looking at something on his phone while his mother, Jane coached an all-girls team called the Kahala Warriors which involved Alex's younger sister, Julie but the game was abruptly interrupted by the arrival of a group of U.S. Navy security patrol from the Joint Base Police who instructed everyone to clear the pitch as a helicopter arrived minutes late to bring Jane to a crime scene involving a jet crash with Jane leaving the care of the team in Alex's hands despite Alex insisting he knew nothing about soccer to which Jane told him the girls didn't care and for them to have fun before she climbed onto the helicopter which flew off.
Presumably, after that, the game continued in Jane's absence or was postponed with Alex bringing Julie to the house where they lived with their mother.
A few hours later, Jane arrived home, changed her clothes and began making dinner which was a stew of some kind while helping Jane with her homework and Alex remained glued to his phone. However, things changed when Jane's colleague, NCIS Computer Specialist Ernie Malik arrived at the house with new information regarding the team's current case which prompted Jane to call on Alex, telling him she needed him to finish the dinner and get Julie to bed on time with Alex protesting, calling it babysitting and Julie informing him it wasn't babysitting, it was helping which is what families did for each other before she left although she returned some time later, having no new leads until her colleague, NCIS Special Agent Kai Holman called her with a possible new lead.
The next evening, as the NCIS Hawaii team gathered at the Tennant house for a late-night dinner, Alex along with Julie were among those in attendance.
