Brent Langer was a former NCIS Agent-turned-FBI Agent-returned-NCIS Special Agent who along with NCIS Special Agents Michelle Lee and Daniel Keating was a member of the Second NCIS Major Case Response Team led by NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. is an NCIS Special Agent who was also a member of the temporary Second NCIS Major Case Response Team. The team was created by Director Leon Vance because he was alerted to a mole within the NCIS and narrowed it down to three agents. He dismantled Special Agent Gibbs's team with Agents Ziva David, Anthony DiNozzo Junior and Timothy McGee and gave them new assignments so that Gibbs could identify which of the three was the mole.
He appears in seasons 5 and 6. He was killed on the job, and was suspected to be the mole, but he was in fact killed by the real mole.

He first appears in Tribes (episode) as a FBI agent helping NCIS on a case.
NCIS Season 6[]
In season 6 he takes on a bigger temporarly role in the series after the dismantling of the old NCIS Major Case Response Team, when he and two other becomes apart of the new team led by Gibbs. He is suspected to be the mole on the team, but is later cleared.
