Carrier is the second episode of NCIS: New Orleans Season 1 and also the 2nd episode of the entire NCIS: New Orleans series.
Synopsis
When a Navy Lieutenant dies after being hit by a taxi while out on liberty in downtown New Orleans, the team investigate the death yet they can't seem to find any kind of motive for the death but the investigation grows tense when Loretta soon discovers that the victim was infected with the bubonic plague, prompting the morgue to be temporarily shut down. Having learnt that the sailor was assigned to the Navy ship, the U.S.S. Geronimo, Pride and his team along with assistance from the Navy and Leon Vance, Abby Sciuto, Carol Wilson and Tony DiNozzo race to find all the sailors from the ship who are on liberty in New Orleans and also stop a potentially devastating outbreak from occurring while determining who is responsible for the bio-terrorist attack that has not only cost two sailors their lives but left many more gravely infected and very ill.
