Descent is the 24th and final episode of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 4 as well as the 96th episode of the entire NCIS: Los Angeles series.
Synopsis
An explosion in the desert brings the search for the missing nuclear bombs to the top of OSP's list. To accommodate things, Hetty rearranges the partnerships, resulting in Callen and Kensi going to Iraq while Sam and Deeks stay in Los Angeles as they attempt to find the bombs before they're sold but the appearance of an old enemy threatens the entire case with severe consequences for two OSP personnel.
