Enemies Foreign is the eighth episode in NCIS Season 8 and the 170th episode of the entire NCIS series.
Synopsis
After apprehending a pickpocket, the NCIS team soon find themselves facing figures from their past as they're later tasked with guarding Eli David, the Director of Mossad and Ziva's estranged father when they learn that Eli is the target of an assassination attempt by a rogue Palestinian terrorist group who are also responsible for hijacking a weapons truck.
Prologue
As Duffy's Well, Well, Well plays in the background, Hillary Lange who's listening via some earbuds scans the pockets of passersby with a device.
She then slips into a corner and examines the device which has "Credit Transfer Complete" before she runs a credit card through it.
Relieved, Lange then heads off.
A few hours later, Lange emerges from a shop, now carrying many shopping bags and happy that her scam has paid off. Her good mood is interrupted by NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee who leaps out in front of her, his gun drawn as he orders her to get on the ground.
Behind her, McGee's colleague, fellow NCIS Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo appears, holding his badge and identifying himself as NCIS.
The two tell Lange not to move.
As DiNozzo sweeps in to cuff Lange, McGee has his gun aimed at Lange.
As DiNozzo drags Lange to her feet, Lange remarks that it's just some clothes and DVDs and that she'll return them before wondering what NCIS is.
DiNozzo and McGee exchange looks.
As DiNozzo cuffs Lange, he remarks to McGee that he can't believe that some people have never heard of them.
McGee then tells Lange that she's under arrest for espionage and terrorism.
It then cuts to Lange who goes, "Wait, what?", stunned as DiNozzo holds onto her.
