Sub Rosa is the seventh episode of NCIS: Los Angeles.
Synopsis[]
When a flash-drive containing photos is found on the body of a murdered young woman, the OSP team discover that the subject in question is none other than Callen himself, resulting in the re-opening of the investigation into Callen's near-fatal shooting six months. With his team's help, Callen sets out to find out who was responsible for arranging the assassination attempt on his life.

- The name "Pushback" refers to the looking back over Callen's shooting and digging into something that has for years been left in the past.

- It's revealed that six months have passed since Callen's near-fatal shooting in "Legend Part 2".
