Gerald Jackson is a former assistant of NCIS Medical Examiner Dr. Donald Mallard. He was present in seasons 1-3.
Biography[]
Pre-Series[]
Not much is known about his early life except for the fact that he has or had a grandfather who owned a funeral home, the two spending a lot of quality time bonding over the embalming table.
NCIS Season 1[]
He was present in the first episode in the fist season, and was a season regular for the entire first season.
He is not in any episodes after episode 16 in season 1, due to his storyline being that he is in recovery after a gun shot wound. He is mentioned multiple times in the remaining episodes of the season.

Personality[]
He seems like a kind and funny man and have a great connection with his superior Medical Examiner Dr. Donald Mallard, that everyone calls Ducky. He keeps in the background as Ducky is very talkative, and is patient when Ducky rambles on about random facts. Ducky and Gerald have a very good relationship and he is considered a good Assistant by Ducky. They have a father/son relationship where they mock and tease each other. He likes to listen to his MP3 player.
He is good friends with Abby.
Physical Appearance[]
He is young, tall and black. He has brown eyes and short hair. In season 1 episode 16, he was shot in the shoulder by Mossad terrorist Ari hiding in a body bag while he was held hostage along side Ducky and Special Agent Caitlin Todd in Autopsy. He was shot by a silencer and was in danger of losing his arm, but he survived. He seems to be physically fit, but spent months in psysical therapy following his gun shot wound in his shoulder.
