Jacqueline "Jackie" Renée Vance (née Thomas) was the wife of NCIS Director, Leon Vance, and the mother of Kayla Vance and Jared Vance.
In addition, she was also the daughter of Lamar Addison and Miller Thomas as well as the sister of Michael Thomas.
Biography
Pre-Series
Born in an unnamed State in the U.S., Jackie was the daughter of Lamar Addison and Millie Thomas with Jackie also having a brother named Michael.
At some point, Lamar left his first family and moved to New York where he began a chain of car dealerships that eventually became successful. He met an unnamed woman and married her, the marriage producing three children who are Jackie and Michael's younger half-siblings.
She and Vance had been married for a long time when she died.

In season 10 in episode Shabbat Shalom (episode) Jackie was shot during the assassination of Eli David. She was rushed to the hospital, but died after 2 hours of surgery from a gun shot wound to the head. In the aftermath of her death, her family was shown to be struggling. Vance also found out she had been keeping secrets, such as a safe deposit box and legal papers where she wanted to separate their properties. He later realizes she wanted to protect herself and her kids in case something happend to him, and that she did not want a divorce.
