Killshot is the fifth episode of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 1.

This episode also marks the debut appearance of NCIS Forensic Scientist Abby Sciuto.

Synopsis

While on his jetski, a man who is originally from North Korea is shot dead and the OSP team fear that the victim's classified secrets may have been lost but everything changes when the team discover a suspect: North Korean assassin Lee Wuan Kai, who appears to have a history with NCIS Director Leon Vance.

Sam and Callen after learning from NCIS Director Leon Vance that Lee Wuan Kai contacted him to inform him she didn't kill Sally Morris.

  • The term "Killshot" is a term where the shot to the head is usually a killshot which assassins like Lee Wuan Kai are trained to use.

Production Notes

  • This was the fifth episode of the first season presented. However, Killshot was the second episode of the series filmed. The presentation order of the episodes was reordered so that this episode would air after The Only Easy Day, Predator and Search and Destroy.
  • Both Rocky Carroll and Pauley Perrette are credited as Special Guest Stars.
  • The conclusion to the storyline begun in Killshot occurred in the episode Endgame (episode). While Killshot was credited as an NCIS: Los Angeles episode and included in the DVD release of the First Season, the second part of the crossover Endgame (episode) was classified as an NCIS episode and was not included on the DVD release of the First Season.
