Love Thy Neighbor is the 2nd episode of NCIS Season 16 and the 356th episode of the entire NCIS series.
Synopsis
After a Navy Lieutenant is found murdered in his hot tub, the team interviews several families in the victim's peculiar neighborhood with the team soon discovering that there's a serial killer operating in the neighborhood while Torres faces the consequences after a night out with Palmer ends with the two of them being arrested.

Trivia
- Ducky and Palmer both referenced the events of The Meat Puzzle (episode) and Royals and Loyals (episode).
- Although this is the first episode to show Palmer being arrested onscreen, he had earlier implied in the episode Being Bad (episode) that he had been arrested before then during his youth.
- The episode appears to take details from the case of Dennis Rader, a.k.a. "The BTK Killer". Rader killed ten people in Kansas before going dormant, eventually starting a family. When Rader was ready to commit another murder, he was arrested and convicted.
