Hey there, I was just curious about episode pages with empty sections, usually labelled "Act1-5" and on episodes from Season 14 and before (for example one picked at random: Spinning Wheel (episode)).
Is there any guidance on what information, if any, belongs in these sections? I notice that in recent years these sections have not been added to new pages, nor edited or added to on old pages. As an example, when you created a new episode page for Flight Plan (episode), the page did not contain the Acts 1-5 headers. Thanks in advance. Techhead7890TalkContribs 13:31, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
I had problems when renaming the page. So I just deleted the original and reposted with the corrections that needed to be made to fix the broken links between the season sixteen page and the previous episode. NJZimmermann(talk) (Contribs) 02:47, April 9, 2019 (UTC)
Hey, Main Page needs a massive update and need Clayton, Nick, Jack and Quinn added to it along with Season 12-15 added to the navigation bar and the "Seasons" tab thing on the home page. I've said this on the talk main page but have just been ignored.
What are your thoughts on doing this for the episodes characters appear in? In my opinion looks more neater, coherent and clearer then having a whole page swamped with names of episodes. It could also remove the need of making a completely seperate article souly dedicated to a character appearances.
As a sub-page I have no objection, but, my lack of objection alone is insufficient; you will also need Social Outsider's input and ultimate approval.
One concern that I have is that such a page can become complicated in the following three instances
1. A series regular is credited but did not appear in an episode
2. A former series regular is mentioned or prominently figures in an episode.
3. A series regular or notable character appears via flashbacks or a dream sequence. NJZimmermann(talk) (Contribs) 06:32, October 25, 2017 (UTC)
Yeah okay understandable. I've got it so that any appearances via archive footage is yellow, guest or recurring appearances are in red, and main appearances in green. Mentions of a character though is an issue like you say, this is the only solution I could possibly think of at the moment, not sure if it suffices though;
How is it going with the merger? Is all involved parties on board with it? Will there be the one wiki for everything NCIS now? I'd like to know for my work on my wiki. Lady Aleena(talk) (Contribs) 04:58, October 11, 2017 (UTC)
Heh, not quite no response was to knowledge ever received from the NCIS:NOLA Wiki. However, it is not my place to query them. That responsibility rests with Fandom administrators. I hold out little hope that any such merger will ever occur because when I recommended the closure of the NCIS LA wiki. I was told in effect that closures were contrary to the policies of the site and that it was not my place to request the closure of a wiki that I administer. You might get farther if you request a redirect instead. You can even point to Help:Merging communities on Community Central to whoever you were talking to. That's all I can suggest. Lady Aleena(talk) (Contribs) 22:25, October 12, 2017 (UTC)
