- David DeLuise who played Michael Franklin is best known for his recurring role as Pete Shanahan in the American/Canadian sci-fi series, "Stargate SG-1". He is the son of comedian Dom DeLuise as well as the brother of Michael DeLuise and Peter DeLuise, Michael having guest-starred on an episode of Stargate SG-1 while Peter who in addition to being an actor has also directed episodes for all three shows of the Stargate TV franchise that consists of Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe.
