Nelson Tunney is a Commander in the United States Navy.
Biography[]
Pre-Series[]
Born in the United States, not much was known about Tunney's early life except for the fact that he later joined the United States Navy, eventually rising to the rank of Commander.
He also met Navy Petty Officer Eric Donner, the two becoming friends with Tunney risking his life to save Donner when Donner was caught in a shipboard fire two years prior to "Dead Reflection".
At some point, Tunney met Miles Hogan who began making various face-masks for him, Tunney even using one old man disguise to get through customs.
Tunney was later part of a team that participated in a covert ops that took place in Kandahar, Afghanistan and ended up killing a tribal leader.
Fearing his career would be ruined if the truth came out, Tunney, wanting to protect his unit began making arrangements to have the original report that placed him in the village the night of the murder switched with one that placed him a hundred miles away from the village on the night, enlisting Donner's help to do so.
