Randall J. Kersey is a man who was also a member of the IJI terrorist group.

Born in Los Angeles or "The City of Angels" on March 22, 1987, young Randall J. Kersey lived a relatively normal life up until the age of five when he lost both his parents, Walter and Brenda Kersey in a car crash and spent the rest of his childhood in foster homes, running away from six out of eight of the foster homes he was put into.
He eventually fled to one house and was recovered from one home belonging to his classmates, begging the parents to let him stay as Kersey craved a permanent family.
Years later, now an adult, Kersey began studying for a Degree in Philosophy in the University of Maine.
He later went to India for a semester but at some point, met members of the Ijil Rebels, prompting Kersey to abandon his degree altogether.
Having gotten a sense of belonging in a true family at long last, Kersey subsequently joined the group and followed them from Pakistan to Afghanistan where he presumably converted to the Muslim religion and was given the name "Sulayman al-Janfi".
