Run and Gun is the first episode of NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 as well as the 45th episode of the entire NCIS: Hawaii series.
Synopsis
After Tennant passes her medical and psych evaluations, she's surprised to see Sam who's conducting her final interview to clear her return to work while upon the team discovering a breach in the U.S. Marshal's database that has left the identities of many people in WITSEC exposed, Sam joins Tennant in Las Vegas to locate the hacker.

- In the last few seconds of the episode, there's a title card dedicating the episode to the memory of William "Kono" Dahlin who worked on NCIS: Hawaii as an actor and additional crew member. Dahlin was shot dead on July 19, 2023 in the 20 Twelve Honolulu Sports pub.
