Sarah Porter is a woman who is also a politician and a former SECNAV- Secretary of the United States Navy.
Following the abduction of her daughter, Megan Porter, which occurred in February 2016, Porter considered resigning from her position as SECNAV untematly deciding to stay on after talking with gibbs. Leaving sometime bdefore season 19 when she was succeeded by Hattie Taylor and later on following Taylor's own departure, presuming her tenure as SECNAV was temporary by Tara Flynn who remains the new SECNAV to this day.
