Macy's History with Gibbs[]

From the manner in which Callen broached the subject of the animosity between herself and Gibbs, two thoughts occurred to me

  1. The previous encounter between Gibbs and Macy that has been hinted about prevented Macy's promotion to Lieutenant Colonel.
  2. Callen is aware of the events and circumstances surrounding Gibbs and Macy's prior history. NJZimmermann 03:54, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Departure of Louise Lombard[]

  • Hi, it says on various websites that Lombard will not be reprising her role as Macy on LA, but will recast. Doesn't this mean that the character of Macy is still current (which is why I removed the "last appearance" section for Macy). Please correct me if I'm wrong though (and if the last appearance was added due to Macy being set to appear on LA, I believe that it should be left open in case they have another "cross-over" episode) NighthawkLeader 07:12, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
    • Nighthawk Leader, the reason I used that form to indicate Louise Lombard's departure, was because it reminded me of the character of Vivian Blackadder portrayed by Robin Lively who appeared as DiNozzo's partner in the JAG episodes Ice Queen and Meltdown, however, the role was recast and the character of Vivian Blackadder was replaced by Kate Todd in Yankee White.NJZimmermann 16:55, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
      • Ok thanks for the clarification :) However, is there a source to say that the character Macy will be replaced? I was under the impression that only the actress would change, but there was a chance that the character would stay, although I can't find a source to back this up (the only thing I can find says that they are looking for a new "female lead", which may or may not mean that Macy will stay on) NighthawkLeader 05:22, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
        • None of the information I have read and reviewed in my subsequent searches has provided a definitive answer either way. I am inclined to adopt the position you have taken on the point. If it should happen that a different character is developed for NCIS: Los Angeles, as happened in the cases of NCIS, and JAG then we can proceed to edit Macy's article as is necessary.
