Theodore "Teddy" Charles Lindsey was a Commander in the United States Navy and who for a time served as Acting JAG following the departure of his commanding officer, Rear Admiral Albert Brovo from JAG.
Following that, Lindsey subsequently became a member of staff for both SECNAV Edward Sheffield as well as Sheffield's predecessor, former SECNAV Alexander Nelson before being forced to resign from his position in disgrace in April 2003.
That same month, during a meeting with former JAG officer, Navy Lieutenant Loren Singer, Lindsey, fearing for his marriage and career threw Singer's body into the river, Singer eventually drowning, her remains being discovered sometime later with Lindsey also framing Navy Commander Harmon Rabb Jr. for the crime.
However, thanks to the work of NCIS Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo Junior, Lindsey was ultimately exposed and after he was arrested, he was presumably court-martialed and dishonorably discharged from the Navy, receiving eight years in Leavenworth.
