Personality
Vera in her prime is an energetic, brash, capable Special Agent who teases her colleagues, giving as good as she can take while supporting the advancement of other women in the NIS taskforce.
Weeks before her retirement in 2013, she returns to the NCIS headquarters in DC for her last stint as a desk Agent assisting the Major Incident Response Team under Gibbs. She brings her typical disarming, energetic and laid back attitude as she reunites with Gibbs, temporarily distracting the team which is still grieving the departure of their colleague, Ziva David. Though a strong personality, Vera is risk averse in her final days as a Federal Agent, particularly not wanting to enter the field with Tony because she heard the stories and believes he is a "moving target".
