We the People is the first episode of JAG Season 2 and the twenty-third episode of the entire JAG series.
Synopsis
After receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions in "A New Life" at a ceremony at the White House, Harm and his new partner, fellow JAG officer and Marine Major Sarah MacKenzie investigate when Marine Colonel Matthew O'Hara who is also a Medal of Honor recipient and Mac's uncle steals the Declaration of Independence and holds it for ransom.
Plot

- It's revealed that Meg has been reassigned.
- Marine Major Sarah MacKenzie and CIA agent Clayton Webb as well as Navy Ensign Jason Tiner are introduced for the first time.
- Bud Roberts, previously an Ensign and Public Relations Officer on the U.S.S. Seahawk arrives at JAG as a new assistant and also as a Lieutenant Junior Grade.
